Patricia de Leon signs my photos. Lance Reddick doesn't.

On Sunday night I saw there was an event where Moët & Chandon was launching a new line of champagne called "Estrella de Moët 2012".  A few celebrities were supposed to attend including Lance Reddick from The Wire.  I really wanted to add Lance to my Wire cast piece and get some individual Wire 11x14s done to keep.  Unfortunately Lance never showed.

A few other celebrities did show though and I helped a few friends get some of their photos signed, and also got Patricia de Leon to sign two 11x14 photos for myself.  She was very nice and also has one of the neater autographs I've seen in a while (it's almost like calligraphy).

Boardwalk Empire event

Boardwalk Empire was having an event on Thursday night and I had to go when I saw that Michael Kenneth Williams (aka Omar Little from The Wire) was going to be there.  Yeah Steve Buscemi, Michael Pitt, Kelly Macdonald, and others were going to be there but I was way more excited to get Omar's autograph.  And I left the night totally satisfied with a pile of Omar 11x14s.

Michael signed seven individual 11x14s for me all images from The Wire and I also added him to my Wire cast 11x14 signed previously by Andre Royo, Glynn Thurman, and Chris Bauer:

Vincent Piazza was strange about signing and didn't seem into it.  He just acted kind of erratic with the way he signed (bouncing around with no discernible pattern), but he signed my two 11x14s I had along so I'm not complaining.

Kelly Macdonald was really nice and signed a lot.  She was the only one the entire night to start on one end of the crowd and work her way all the way to the other end.  Everyone else just hit one area signed and left. Kelly signed the three 11x14s I had along and I probably could have gotten more if I had them.

Michael Shannon is always a phenomenal signer and tonight was the same.  He racked at multiple times of the night.  He signed my two 11x14s.

Michael Pitt signed and was pretty cool about it.  He has a sloppy signature, but hey it's his signature.  He signed two 11x14s for me and I could have had many more but two was all I brought.

Gretchen Mol signed and was pretty nice about it.  Her publicist really made you work for it though if you wanted more than one.  I had to move all the way down the line to get a second one. She signed two of the four 11x14s I had along.

Michael Stuhlbarg signed, but was not that cool about it.  I'm not sure if he doesn't like crowds, doesn't like signing, or what is was but the guy blew off me and my buddies at numerous occasions throughout the night.  I got one signed by shear luck when he first came over to sign.

I did not get Steve Buscemi once again, I've seen my three times in the last year and never gotten him.  To be fair he signed a few but I just wasn't able to get one personally.

But hey, I didn't really want Buscemi all that bad anyway.  I got Omar freaking Little.

House series wrap party

I graphed the House series wrap party in downtown LA last week and boy did I do amazing.

Here's the red carpet:
Here's the entrance where we stood to ask for autographs:
Here's all the signed photos I left with:

Oh, what's that? You can't see the photos? That's weird.

But it's not that weird because the ENTIRE cast stiffed.

I walked away with:
ZERO Hugh Laurie
ZERO Omar Epps
ZERO Robert Sean Leonard
ZERO Jesse Spencer
ZERO Peter Jacobson
ZERO Odette Annable
ZERO Charlyne Yi

Thank you cast of House for being so nice and gracious.

Mark Margolis aka Hector Salamanca signs my Breaking Bad

Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, Sons of Anarchy.  My favorite shows on TV.  So any time I get to meet someone from the shows it's a treat.  Well last week I did a set visit for a few hours to try to get Al Pacino and Christopher Walken, but unfortunately neither was filming that day, but Mark Margolis was.  When I saw Mark Margolis aka Hector Salamanca from Breaking Bad I immediately knew I had to stay and add him to my cast pieces.   He was super cool and came right over across the street when my buddy called him.  He signed by my 8x10 and 11x14 cast pieces.  I really want to get this guy to sign a bell the next time I see him (Breaking Bad fans will know the kind of bell I'm talking about).

American Horror Story: Alexandra Breckenridge, Dylan McDermott, Connie Britton, and Denis O'Hare

On Wednesday night I graphed an event for American Horror Story and I got most of the cast that showed up.  The first to show was Denis O'Hare aka Russell Edgerton from True Blood.  He was really nice and came right over when I called him and signed.  I put him on my AHS cast 12x18.

Alexandra Breckenridge came next and she's pretty popular for her role as the naughty maid Moira on  the show so I was happy to get her on my cast 12x18, an individual 11x14, an individual 8x10, and I also got a picture with her.

Dylan McDermott came next and was pretty strict on one autograph a piece.  There was only four of us there at the time and I held out my cast 12x18 and an individual 8x10 and he only signed the cast 12x18 for me.

Next Connie Britton came and was really nice.   She signed the most of the cast.  I put her on my cast 12x18 and two 8x10s.

Here's what my cast 12x18 with Denis, Dylan, Connie, and Alexandra ended up looking like:
Sad to report Evan Peters did not sign when we called him and basically blew us off.
